The Rise of Celebrity Lawyers

They are everywhere celebrities are. Some defend musicians, doctors, actors, actresses, basketball players, football players and socialites. They are celebrity lawyers. Many of them derive the label because of the people they represent, others because of the cases they pursue. Then there are those who are celebrities in their own right, hosting their own television shows and regularly appearing on popular programmes.

A regular law job in manchester might not result in super stardom, but there is no denying the increase in number of attorneys that have made a name for themselves one way or another in the media. There is of course Leslie Abramson, famous for defending the Mendez Brothers and Phil Spector; Gloria Alldred who represented the family of Nicole Brown Simpson; Alan Dershowitz who defended O.J. Simpson and Mike Tyson; Martin Garbus who represented Sean Connery and Al Pacino; and of course, Howard K. Stern who represented Anna Nicole Smith.
