When people think of Roadshow Jobs they probably don’t think of banks right away. I’m an event manager with a large financial institution and I do everything from directing our roadshow team, we get quite a few new customers from them, to setting up our end of the year award ceremonies and working with the staff to plot out important business conferences. In many ways a good conference is a lot like a stage show. You are trying to set a certain mood, hit your marks to convey important information and fit a large amount of information into a fairly short time frame. Its not unusual at all for me to be overseeing multiple events at the same time, all of which are often important to the companys over all success. I’ve found its a great career for someone who is creative and thrives under the pressure of meeting deadlines.
