In this economy, everyone is looking for a quickest way to earn money. When we were kids, lemonade stands were usually what we turned to, but now that we are older, the pride and realist in us knows better. Lemonade stands do not usually garner too much money, and how many people would think it was normal for a person over twelve to be selling lemonade? I am twenty and honestly, people would think I was creepy if I began selling lemonade on my lawn. Plus I live in the middle of nowhere, so odds are, not too many people would come anyway. So what can the rest of the money-seekers of the world turn to once they enter puberty and transcend to adulthood? Garage sales are never a bad option. It eliminates all the junk you have lying around your house and can bring in some serious dough. So it’s a win-win. Just remember with garage sales that you need to advertise if you want it to be successful. If you think just setting up some tables and throwing your junk on them is enough, well don’t be surprised when only a few neighbors show up. If you have any neighbors that is.
