Is it me or is it really difficult to find apartments in Uptown Dallas? Now, I know that Dallas is a popular town, but it seems like every time I find a cheap apartment through Craigslist or wherever, it’s only a matter of days before the apartment is taken. I’ve gone so far as to bring along a copy of my credit score to some of these viewings, but even that doesn’t seem to give me an edge. I’m not sure exactly what I need to do to find an apartment there, but it’s getting to the point that I’m a star bringing a couple hundred dollars in cash to bribe the owner. I guess that’s the price you pay when you live in a wonderful town such as Dallas. Maybe if I moved further away from the city I could find a cheaper apartment, but who wants to live so far away from downtown?
