A lot of subjects are taught such as Anatomy, Physiology, Patient Care, Medical terms etc. After completing a basic course, students can get a certification in Phlebotomy issued by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), National Phlebotomy Association (NPA), andNationalCenterfor Competency Testing (NCCT). With a certification, students can easily find jobs in hospitals, clinics, or nursing homes, with a minimum hourly pay of $12.80.
