Ice cream is just so wonderfully creamy and delicious that everybody loves them even if they can be bad for you if you eat too much. One way of staying while still being able to eat ice cream is to limit the size of your servings. This takes discipline because ice cream is just so delicious, you’d want to eat more. If you can’t control the amount that you eat, you can perhaps control what’s in the ice cream that you eat. If you own an ice cream maker, you can be careful and replace the fatty ingredients with non-fat ones. Heavy cream, for example, can be replaced with sweetened condensed milk while whole milk can be replaced with non-fat milk. You can also limit how much egg yolks you use. Those are ingredients are usually the main culprits. Just replace them and you should be able to make healthy ice cream at home. There are even vegetarian ‘ice cream’ that you can make using bananas and nothing else. However, you may taste a ‘green’ after taste. You can always add honey or a little chocolate syrup to mask that taste.
