A new article in the Archives of Dermatology discusses the relationship between young people who are taking oral antibiotics for acne and sore throats. The study from 2007 tracked college students that were taking an oral medication for acne. These students were three times more likely to get a sore throat than those students that were not taking an acne antibiotic. Interestingly enough these sore throats were not associated with the common bacteria infection more commonly known as strep. In fact shockingly enough this bacteria appeared in less than one percent of the group that was studied. Instead of using conventional acne antibiotics it may make sense for an acne sufferer to buy Acnezine. This is an all natural acne solution made by Revitol and it does not contain any antibiotics. This study potentially shows that by avoiding taking prescription antibiotics to treat acne a person maybe able to avoid the increased likelihood of developing a sore throat.
