A deviated septum surgery is done when the nasal septum is deviated to such extent where breathing becomes difficult. This is an aesthetic job that is better known as rhinoplasty. A deviated septum surgery is performed when the bone and cartilage are deviated and in order to correct breathing problems and chronic sinusitis.
