Our neighbors knocked on our door early this morning. They thought that there was a possible carbon monoxide leak in their home. They were waiting for a heating and cooling Boise contractor to come and inspect their furnace. Of course, we immediately invited them in to wait for the contractor. While they were waiting, our neighbors told us that their furnace was very old and most likely cracked. They were suspecting that the crack in their furnace was the source of the carbon monoxide leak. For the last several weeks, their family was feeling ill. They had flu-like symptoms and dizzy spells. We were concerned for their health after they told us about their symptoms. Every symptom that they experienced matched the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. We wanted them to stay at our home and relax while they waited for the contractor to come. Once the contractor arrived, he immediately inspected the furnace. After several minutes, he found a long crack. Our neighbors were so glad that they finally found the cause of their illness. They had a brand new furnace installed the very same day. Within several days, our neighbors were feeling better, and they began to tell family and friends to regularly check their furnaces.
