The cliché “the earlier the better” certainly applies in potty training. This is what my mother told me. She began potty training me, my sister and my brother as soon as we could walk properly. According to her, this was better because we will learn how to use the potty as soon as possible. The first thing she did for our potty training was to teach us how to identify the words used for potty training such as pee, poop and potty seat. Then when we understood what she said, she offered bribes for us. My mother would tell me that the lollipops worked like wonders and it was really something really amazing. Because my siblings and I began our potty training about 13 months old, we were completely potty trained before we were 18 months. So you should not delay potty training, or else, your children will get so used to the diapers and they will find it more difficult to get out from their comfort zone – the diaper.
