I was just a kid when I heard my mom talking to my aunt and cousin that it has always been her dream to own a fur coat. Due to various financial issues, she has been unable to do so. Growing up it was always one thing or another that kept her from having the funding she needed. Now she is retired and definitely can not afford one. So when my mom’s seventieth birthday was coming up my sister and I got to talking. We knew that she really did not want to have a big birthday party so we thought that it would be a good idea to instead put the money that we would use to plan a party and put it toward a fur coat. We started looking at long fur coats for her since we knew that this was her favorite. In the end, we decided to just taking her shopping with us and have her pick out her favorite.
